On June 19, United World Wrestling announced that a rule modification will be in effect for Greco-Roman throughout the next three months as part of a prolonged testing process. This rule update is, compared to other recent procedural adjustments, not cumbersome — for all matches which end in a 1-1 score, the winner will be the first wrestler to have earned a technical point.

The Pan-American U20 Championships begins in Lima, Peru from July 10 close to 200 wrestlers participating. All weight classes of Greco-Roman will be held on July 10, followed by all weight classes of Women's Wrestling on July 11 and all 10 weight classes of Freestyle on July 12.
U20 Asian Wrestling Championships 2025 Entries - United World Wrestling
The Asian U20 Championships begins on July 9 in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. Around 300 wrestlers are expected to participate in Freestyle, Women's Wrestling and Greco-Roman.
